
Diversity in companies is a decisive growth factor. A diverse workforce brings in perspectives, experiences, and ideas, thus fostering creative and innovative work environments. This can only succeed if everyone feels equally treated.
To feel comfortable in the company, the following is needed:
Humanity
Everyone wants to feel valued and heard. We consider humanity to be based on lived empathy, appreciation, and respect.
Integrity
Our working conditions should be characterized by honesty, reliability, and fairness. Open communication, transparency, trust, and fair opportunities should not be foreign words.
Transparency
Employees at all hierarchical levels should act more transparently. Through openness, i.e., being honest, clear, and understandable. Comprehensibility should always be ensured.
These are conditions that strengthen a diverse workforce and, thereby, the company. There were times at Fresenius when these values were taken for granted. But today, they are only partially recognizable. This needs to be re-anchored and become self-evident again so that we can once again enjoy working.
